Zeus was the dog of my heart.  He had a magnificent head, bone, and coat, but he was, most importantly, the best dog I have ever had the pleasure of sharing my life with. He was everything I ever wanted in a dog. Zeus didn't like dog shows, so it was fortunate that he finished his championship quickly, taking two 4 point majors in Florida, and then coming home to win a 5 point major going BOB over two top specials to finish.  His affectionate nature now shines through in his offspring, and their descendants.

October 1993 - February 2003

Leo was Zeus' "little brother." Always silly and ready to play, he was Buki's 4th champion offspring. Leo was always ready with a big Akita smile and playbow. He loved puppies, and was every litter's favorite uncle. Even Biz, our Shiba, thought Leo was a pretty cool guy. We were sorry to lose Leo in early May of 2006. Biz still looks for his buddy.

October 1993 - May 2006

Nicky was sold as a puppy, and came back to us at 5 years old. She had a rough transition, but did bond immediately with our two teenage sons. Once she was settled , we took a good look at her and thought she could do well in the show ring. We were right! Nicky finished her championship in record time, finishing with 3 majors, including a BOB win over three specials. Her championship gave her dam, Buki, her Register of Merit certificate. We lost Nicky unexpectedly to pancreatic cancer in April of 2006.
